As part of Festival of Libraries, I hosted a free author talk and creative writing workshop at Old Trafford Library.
Manchester friends, join me at Blackwells on 18th November. I will be talking to the wonderful Abi Hynes about social aspiration, romantic folly and literary pretence in my novel Something Black in the Lentil Soup. There will be wine and refreshments!

Thank you New Asian Writing for this detailed review. This reviewer has really read my book and understood it for what it is. @speakingtiger14 @NewAsianWriting
“ Beyond helping our social cognition, reading fiction can expand our world and our understanding of its complexities. Good authors are master observers of the human condition and can expose us to experiences outside our comfort zone.”👌🏽
